Engineering is a wide subject. It covers all areas of acquiring and applying technical, scientific and mathematical knowledge to design and implement materials, structures, machines, devices, systems, and processes that safely realize a desired objective or inventions. It can be broken into many sub areas of specialization such as:

• Civil Engineering
• Environmental Science & Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical & Computer Engineering
• Engineering & Technology Management
• Engineering Science
• Industrial & Systems Engineering
• Bioengineering
• Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering

The faculty may also have departments under the above names, each having its own research and teaching staff responsible for their own areas of specialization.

Engineering is a popular course among international students in Malaysia. Most of the undergraduate programs take 4 years to complete. Some examples of degree conferred by the Engineering Faculty include:
